I do. I really love how The Lord works and just how sweet He can be to us sometimes. You know what I'm talking about don't you? Those precious reminders He sends our way just to show that He cares and & hasn't forgotten about us. This morning during my time with Him I was reminded just of how He brings things around. You see I filled up my second prayer journal and thought it would be fun to flip through the first one I started. Of course I opened it to page one and guess what the date read....January 15, 2009. And what did I journal about that very morning a year ago....the EXACT story I studied this morning...no lie....the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel.
He did.
This morning He met me right where He knew I needed to be met. It was a sweet reminder to me that He knows all the details and is working for the good in my life. That I need to allow Him to continue to mold and shape me into the woman He wants me to be...to be better for Him. He holds the world in His hands & He is a God who loves and cares about me & the details of my life & waiting on Him is not such a terrible place to be at all. In fact, as much as I hate to say it I think it's often sometimes the best place to be because it causes you to really have faith and trust that He is in control and knows what's best. Did you catch that...He knows what's best. My precious Savior who holds the entire world in His hands is orchestrating every step, twist and turn of my life. Today's page is not blank in fact it's already written...nothing comes as a suprise to Him. He's in the details y'all...the big and the small....and for me that is enough to rest in today.
"The Lord is my strengh & sheild; my heart trusts in Him, & I am helped. My heart leaps for joy & I will give thanks to Him in song!" Psalm 28:7
